Feb 09, 2017 Looked some more, and apparently there is no freehand drawing tools in Word for Mac 2016. Otherwise, you would see a Drawing tab (which has replaced the Ink tab now in Office). But, I do see some. Click the Table button on the Insert tab and choose Draw Table from the menu that appears. The app comes with all the tools available in Paint, such as the brush tool, pencil, and a number of selection tools. However, Pixelmator also brings a number of other, useful tools. Tools like the sponge tool, warp tool, blur and sharpen tools, along with a pen, and a freeform pen tool. There are a lot of other tools, as well, and one that I. Actually, adding a flowchart within a Microsoft Office program is as simple as adding a few shapes. We will use Microsoft PowerPoint 2011 for Mac in this example but you could really be using Word or Excel versions of Office 2011 to do the same task. In Word for the web you can see WordArt that’s already in your document, but to add more WordArt you need to open or edit the doc in the desktop version of Word. You can use the Font features on the Home tab to change the font color and size, and apply bolding, italics, or underlines to your text.
The Drawing toolbar

That gives the following window, which can be placed anywhere on the screen:
This toolbar can be restored to its original position by clicking in the gray bar at the top and dragging it back to the top of the screen. Push the top of the window up to the bottom of the menu bar.
